I'm reading everywhere that one shouldn't do this?
My doctor said it will help me sleep because I have problems sleeping on dexedrine however it is the only medication that helps my adhd and I've tried them all. I got the script but haven't taken it yet. From what I'm reading on the internet, I'm getting quite frightened. This is the first time seeing this doctor I havent built a solid trusting relationship with him, not sure what to do, the medicine works great but i need my sleep.

That is not an appropriate use for tramadol. Are you sure he didn't mean to prescribe trazodone?

it works for some people. I've seen people swear by it. But agreed, doesn't make my eyes flutter. Hope it helps, OP

It wasn't really designed to be enjoyable so I'm not surprised that most people aren't overly attracted to it.

haha, change doctor. tramadol not only being an opiate, is one of the only opiates that causes stimulation!
I can find it a little tricky to sleep on at times

Lol, your doctor is pretty inept. Also, tramadol's activity as an SNRI and long duration might interfere somewhat with dexedrine's activity.

ebola

The OP realized that the doctor prescribed trazadone, not tramadol.

I just dislike it because it has some really, really weird side effects, plus, I can take 150mg and walk right through it without even getting drowsy. Doesn't seem to be too effective as an anti-depressant either.
