Psychedelics Mushroom Season

I've never managed to find anything locally. Nearly all the all agricultural land round here is high intensity arable. I have a snaffle about on the odd bit of pasture most years, but nothing.

Decided to try and solve the frustration this year with a couple of grow bags at home.

Not seen any mushies yet, but I saw that video a few days ago.

It made me wince every time that guy making the video just ripped them out of the ground, damaging that lovely mycelium.

The old guy was doing it properly.


No wonder Libs appear to be on the decline, with fuckwits like that.

That look excactly like the Shrooms you d buy before the commercial growing started.
And the sales via Smartshops took over. before that it was legal but a bit of you have to know,
the right people or places and obviously the right moment. Harvting time.

Thought for a while it wasn t even a wild picked Psilocybine Semilanceata but a Pholiotina Cyanopsis.
Cause the Smartshop ones are so big. But afaik they don t grow wild in the UK. Though they do in NL.

Are these wild growing Liberty Caps/ Psilocybine Semilanceata ?
And how is the high, is it diffferent then the grown ones ?

Yes, they are wild Psilocybe semilanceata, AKA Liberty caps.

How is the high? Fuckin wild - though I have no experience of other psychoactive species to compare them with.
 
I get my magic truffles from Amsterdam from a clearnet site, same with Kratom and Phenibut hcl :)

Never had a Liberty Cap that was grown ?
Like the ones they used to sell in Smartshops.
Now they sell Truffles. But they are still technically Liberty Caps.

But the high was so different vs the wild picked ones.

Nope. I won't touch mushrooms grown by anyone other than nature.

They had to replace the illegal made Shrooms with Truffles.
Afaik any Psilocybe member they sold as Shroom now is sold in Truffle version.

Or sclerotia as they are called, don t know if all Psilocybes can do it.
But its just a survival technique when the circumstances to form Shrooms is not there.
Atm there are more types then ever all grown/ unnatural. Diff feel then the handpicked.

Though they are said to be eassier to handle trips, certainly more tastey.
Conditions they form are to survive periods of drought, its not a Shroom,
but a hardening of the myceleum with food low moisture.

Like the Ergot Fungus Claviceps foms on Wheat.
They come out of the dormant state in right conditions.

edit: idk but they seem not to form Truffles, they do form Secotoids, truffle like ?

Yeh, as I understand it, 'truffles' are the fruiting body of the mycelium that forms underground, as opposed to 'mushrooming out' above ground. Are all fungi capable of this then?
 
Seems like its just certain subspecies can. But not Liberty Caps a.o.

About what it is internet on the surface remains contradictary.
But going from the scientific way they forbid the fruiting body of the Psilocybine containing mushrooms.
I am leaning towards wiki s Sclerotium explenation just because of that law.
In which its dormant myceleum materal that can technically can flower, but isnt one.

The law reliably gave no useful info on the topic. They just illegalized all above ground parts.
Containing Psilocybine. So what ever Truffle is imo its a least resort survival strategie.

which look somewhat unappealing. And never heard of.

And not like a Truffle. Which form in case of emergency when over probably reactivates the system.
So assume they can also form shrooms.

My main + on em is they are way better to consume then Shrooms.
But finding em wild you ll need a trained dog or pig.

Truffles are great, you used to be able to buy them from head shops ( I think from Holland) along with Explosion ( liquid methylone).

They are more MDMA like than standard magic mushrooms, perhaps a little less spiritual. The visuals are different but still fantastic. The only downside was the taste, absolutely horrific, like sour metal.

Leave them to dry on the newspaper for a while and you'll see all the little tiny maggots crawl out to die.

Some people are disgusted by that, but AFAIK and have ever experienced they are completely harmless even if you consume the shrooms when they're still fresh and still full of all those tiny maggots.
 
Ive' been looking 4 times this fall and found 0,45 g small libs dried, but they are small and can be equivalent to slightly larger dose of larger shrooms. Gonna first time test mixing with amanitas (+weed obviously)
