Hi in the middle with o's on the end
Ok, well THC is just one of the molecules but for personal reason i would like to get the image exact, ofcourse i could just wait until i take all those chemistry classes in college but i would like to do this now.

I found many images of the THC molecule and they differ, some by a lot. I'm just wondering what is the cause of these differences and which one is the most accurate and how i might go about obtaining other accurate depictions of molecules.

here are a few i found, i even found one that expanded the C5H11

and then norml's power behind the pot image, norml.org in their shop, cant link to it though

They're both exactly the same.

I would have hoped highschool chemistry would be enough to teach you that...

Try looking at the 3D model. You might then see how both the above diagrams are correct. Erowid also has another stick and ball model that shows the carbon atoms as larger balls.

Erowid Cannabis Chemistry

In reality, neither of these looks like the "space filling model" as the bond lengths are small compared to the atomic radii of the elements.

Well i already knew they were the same, I guess i'm just trying to find out which one is more "standard" or like i said more accurate.
Or are they really all exactly the same and its just preference as to which I should choose?

Maybe more of an expanded one

In a way phase_dancer's 3D molecule models are still wrong. It's known that the pentyl chain does not stretch out, but folds back over to the aromatic ring.

ahh, what's the big deal anyway? go ahead and put it on a t-shirt, you're going to have to tell most people what it is anyway. they won't care how accurate it is. (sorry for the acerbic tone, this just doesn't seem like an advanced situation)
