Modafinil and cannabis

This is purely anecdotal, no scientific evidence here yet, but I think that modafinil may help cannabis addiction (it is documented that it helps cocaine & amphetamine addiction too). I've been pre scripted with it since it could help my delayed sleep phase syndrome, but coincidently, whenever I take one dose of it I don't feel like smoking pot. Maybe it's just me, I truly don't know, but if you find yourself trying to quit weed for some reason, you may want to experiment with this.

P.s. I'm no doctor, so if you try this, inform yourself on erowid, wiki or even talk with your doctor before taking modafinil. It may be dangerous for people with liver diseases and other certain people.
 
Then on the other hand you have me. I'm on modafinil and I still like to smoke dank when I've got it. If anything I think my tolerance has dropped since I started taking piracetam and modafinil.

Now cigarettes, those have started tasting like hot ass since I started taking modafinil.
 
I am amazed by the marked and unexpected potentiation of cannibis when used in conjunction with provigil. 4-6 hits of kind with provigil gets me ridiculously high...
 
Maybe it's a way my body has for telling me that I might get really really high. I've only smoked once while on modafinil, a couple of hits because I'm not too much into combining drugs. Got high, but didn't continued smoking to notice a major difference.
 
^yeah, I've cut back to about 1/8th a month these days so not a lot of tolerance is involved in my case...
 
I hate mixing modafinil & cannabis. It gives me butterflies in my stomach & makes me quite edgy.

Somewhat similar to mixing cocaine & cannabis. They just don't mix well for me.

Perhaps something to do with dopamine re-uptake inhibition at the same time as dopamine release. I dunno, but whatever it is I don't like it.

Actually, I don't like modafinil very much at all. I prefer a small dose of ephedrine TBH!
