So, I was at the doctor's office. Then he asked me if there's any medications that I have benefited from before. I listed him some benzodiazepines. He was like, "No, I'm not gonna prescribe you those." I wonder if he now think's that I'm some kind of drug seeker... That's not my intention at all. I just have some anxiety issues. I've read here on Bluelight, that you should never request a drug by name. I wonder if this is going the affect the way he thinks of me now? If you have experience of a some kind of situation please share. I think I've might've screwed up here a little!

Well, if you rattled off 10 kinds of benzos it will make her/him concerned about addiction. I find that it is better to explain your symptoms and let the doctor make their decision from there.

Will it make your doctor view you as an addict? Not necessarily. She/he may simply think they are nipping addiction in the bud.

As they are Schedule III in the US, there are many types of legal Benzodiazepine analogues readily available in prescription form (blister packaged tablets, complete with prescribing information), such as Etizolam. This may be a good option for you, if you are able to use them appropriately.

I got caught out this way, I was asked what I've taken that helped my aches and pains before I found out I had fibromyalgia

And I said "tramadol, amitriptyline and diazepam" that I've had for anxiety in the past!

Ding ding ding we have a drug seeker in the room

She wasn't wrong but she wasn't right either, I'd previously been addicted to tramadol and diazepam but I actually want someting for fibromyalgia now but it's to late I think I'm on the "do not prescribe list" I ended up on amitriptyline which did help but caused side effects so I stopped

Benzos are the best for my anxiety but they're addictive so I see her point

That's interesting I thought you can only get Etizolam from RC venders on the net (not sourcing I just find that really interesting that it's in blister packs with prescribing information)

Do you mean the Darknet? No, they are available simply online. Schedule III controlled substances do not fall under the Federal Analogue Act, and are therefore all it's analogues are legal to buy, sell, and possess.

Oh, that's right, lovely. You are in the UK.

I am not certain about the legality of benzos there. I go by the site that sells the Etilaam brand (not certain if that is sourcing).

Benzos can only be prescribed off a doctor in the UK but they rarely give them out as been told not too "because they are highly addictive" so they force antidepressants onto people who have anxiety, then years later some are on their 20th type of medication and self medicate with ketamine and benzodiazepines bought off the net lol

We also had a blanket ban on all psycho active substances because they couldn't keep up with banning each individual legal high, they was being banned then the chemist's just tweaked a moilicule making a new drug, so they just banned them all as a blanket ban

That is a shame. I have heard that you all have a much higher purity of street MDMA, so that is pretty neat.
