A random thought occurred to me , I don’t think I’ve EVER seen his name on a drug forum, but I thought generally a well known figure . I understand druggies would want to distance themselves , hes pretty degenerate and gives us an even worse name
For those that don’t know , In the 80s, 90s Alig was head of the club scene in New York , partied too hard on crack , MDMA , ketamine , heroin and roofies - he ended up dismembering his drug dealer in a bathtub, drugging him with drano , and setting his body floating on the lake nearby
Aligs the topic of the early 2000s film “Party Monster” starring Macaulay culkn & Seth green ,there’s also a book about this by the same name (formerly known as Disco bloodbath ), as well as the Netflix documentary “Glory Daze”
Alig blames the murder on heroin . Nice try - He’s playing on the public’s ignorance about heroin , but don’t buy that -I understand heroin intoxication might make the murder easier , but if you don’t have something like that in you already ,heroin intoxication isn’t capable of forcing your hand
