My dude is totally delusional
He thinks he's gunna die
He swears there's people controlling his family
And he hears voices
But it's only after he smokes a bowl or two of meth

But to my understanding
Meth induced pycosis happens after awhile , not just a bowl .. Right ?

Does he have some underlying issue or something ?
And when he does meth , what are some things I can do to help him when he's freaking out ? What made you feel better when you were tripping ?
I know the solution is to quit . But he doesn't and I just really hate seeing this .
Should he go to the doctors ? he won't but I'm so afraid of his well being

It's from the meth, and continued use of crystal meth.

If he does not quit it will only get worse; but only he can quit or decide he wants to quit. :\

Hey dude hang in there, go into a room and lock it. I've been to the ER for meth psychosis. Peoples faces looked scary they had to sedate me for 2 days. Don't go near your phone/laptop. There are a lot of triggers there that could make your trip a lot worse. Take ~50mg benadryl(assuming you don't have an allergy). Try to get some sleep, read a book, anything to relax your mind.

psychosis a big part is lack of sleep ethylphenidate will bring it on after 2 nights for me and that's 3 police cars and an ambulance had to get me had some meds started to ease quicklly

It certainly sounds like meth-induced psychosis to me. The thing to be wary of is if he continues to abuse meth the symptoms may last even longer or become permanent. A quick bit of research on my part suggests that meth-induced psychosis only lasts 2-3 days at the most but take it from someone who has suffered from drug-induced psychosis for 2 years that anything is possible. It's rare to last as long as it has for me but it can happen.

Try to at least limit the amount your friend has if possible as well as making sure they eat & sleep. The longer the binges are the more likely the psychotic symptoms present & will persist.

If his psychosis persists for over a week after abstaining, I would certainly try to get him professional help. Have you tried persuading them to go to a substance misuse clinic? It really sounds like they have a complete lack of control over their use.
