Nice Try. ;)
I smoke meth off and on. So far my teeth look like they always have and I keep up both my calcium intake and oral hygiene. I smoked last night and am still amping. I have an appointment with my dentist this afternoon. Will he be able to tell that I've been using and, if so, can he disclose that information to anyone? I'm still on my parent's insurance and don't want them to know about this because I like not being homeless; it seems to work for me.

Also, is there anything I should do beforehand to ensure my mouth looks normal?

Damn, I was hoping that by rigorously maintaining my dental hygiene like never before, any oral side-effects would be negated or at least postponed for a long while.

He can't tell your parents if you're 18, even if you're a dependent of their insurance. Shouldn't be a big deal, even if the dentist does realize. Mine would give me shit about smoking cigarettes when I was 14 because I'd always reek and he never said a word to them

Honestly? I think being amped is making you a little paranoid. There is nothing you can do about it now, either way, is there :p if anything I would start taking multivitamins or calcium supplements if you aren't already and make sure you don't over brush like crazy when you're on meth - just brush normally, like gently for 2min before breakfast and sleep at night (dont brush too hard, and try not to brush right after you eat cos if you the any acids like oranges or soda that can break down tooth enamel... And if you're doing meth you don't want to break down anything, you wanna support everything you've got!) An enamel-strengthening tooth paste or mouth wash before you do meth might also be a good idea. I mean I don't do meth and I'm not a dentist so I really don't know. People have really fucked up teeth, I really don't think he'll care or even notice unless it's really bad - maybe you can even ask your dentist how to take care of your teeth better (ie: what's the best strengthening tooth paste, etc.) He certainly will have better ideas than us.

Good luck, and stay cool :p

Yeah, he didn't mention anything. He and his assistant both commented on my blood pressure and asked if I chew my lip. I was ridiculously nervous the entire time.

Bahaha bet you were sweating your arse off. and looked like deer in headlights. Next time, if your amping take a benzo before going out of the house or being in public or some shit

HAHAHA this is one of the funniest things I've read on BL

to answer your questions, no, and no.

there is no possible way that a dentist could know FOR SURE if your dental problems were a result of methamphetamine usage unless the dentist ran a drug test on you (which is extremely unlikely, not only that but dental procedures aren't usually covered as much as "regular" doctor visits/exams/procedures would be by insurance - they should be (pretty sure they have to) ask you before they preform any type of exam or procedure that you aren't already aware of, and especially those not covered by insurance. I don't know many dentists who would pay for a drug test out of their own pocket just because curiosity killed the cat. Even if somebody walked into the dentist looking like an etch-a-sketchy, three-toothed bum, the dentist still couldn't be for sure if they were a drug user, or more specifically a meth user, unless the patient him/herself confirmed it as so, or a drug test (which won't be ran) is preformed. There's no little signs in your mouth that say "meth was here" or little white crystals dancing around on your bicuspids...

Secondly, no - it would be a breach of patient/doctor trust to divulge your information to anyone else other than his nursing staff or the insurance company, unless you told the doctor you were involved in serious crimes or were endangering the welfare of somebody else.

calm down, man...no reason to be so damn nervous. Hell - if anything, just be proud you're keeping up on your oral hygiene.
