Jeez, some of the comments I see on this site about Mephedrone are just as (if not more) inflammatory than the ones the media made in the build-up to the ban.
I'm not a crusader for the drug, although I did really enjoy it, and let me make this clear: it's a drug. No 'dirtier' or more 'addictive' than most other euphoric stimulants, just with a relatively short duration and because it was cheap, a lot of redosing went on.
Also, bear in mind that just because you suffered some bad side effects, it doesn't mean that everyone will. I personally (and I'm not proud of this by any means) have abused Mephedrone in the past to a pretty foolish degree. Not once have I experienced any blue extremeties or chest pains. The worst effects I ever experienced were after mulitiple days' binges without a scrap of food or sleep- when I started to show signs of jaundice. Which I fully deserved and would have experienced regardless of the drug.
My point is, your sweeping generalisations are incorrect.
