hi does anyone know if melatonin is is 5ht2b agonist or antagonist. if it is an antagonist would it be
beneficial to take with shrooms?

Not sure if you're asking because of agomelatine, but melatonin itself does not act on 5-HT2B - it has its own receptor to act on: the melatonin receptor.

Agomelatine does act on that as well (and at 5-HT2B), but that doesn't mean that the 'reverse' is true.

Kindly post questions on taking something to counter 5-HT2B agonism from drugs you take in the first thread you made on it. :) It's all the same topic.

Don't know how complete this list is, but it might save you some time if you scroll down to antagonists:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5-HT2B_receptor

The only thing that might help you (if only to hear a 'definitive' answer if they haven't been definitive enough) is to take all of this to the neuroscience and pharmacology forum. The best way would be if a mod would merge your 3 threads and move them there if you agree.
(Not that I am sure no one will come in here at PD with a good tip on what to use)
