There are a few places that do decent reporting from each bend. I really like revolver news, Darren Beatty doesn’t write shit without the receipts. As establishment as axios is, they tend to lay it out decently. As much of a rag daily mail is, they have some diamonds in the rough, I like places not afraid to anger a certain political persuasion. My theme of the day is: both sides are shitty and use the same tactics, at this point. You can't believe anything you read. Or rather, you shouldn't, until you look into it yourself. Although that can be quite hard to do, these days.
It's a tragic irony that we have essentially infinite information available at our fingertips in this day and age... and yet, the truth is perhaps more indistinct than ever.
This has been my position for quite some time.My theme of the day is: both sides are shitty and use the same tactics, at this point. You can't believe anything you read. Or rather, you shouldn't, until you look into it yourself. Although that can be quite hard to do, these days.

It annoys me bc they always do this, and then the readjustment is never discussed unless someone they don’t like is in office. The economy is not well, in every market I’ve had to deal with it’s been complete shit, and upside down.Yeah the numbers will be revised. I follow this stuff
We're faced with too much information. Our brain yearns for simplicity and we can get what we want by just falling towards the extremes. It's just simpler to think in black and white. Given the deep social complexity we're creating, this simplicity of thought is really at odds with our reality. It's like we're losing the ability to think and we need that more than ever. The problems we are facing do not have simple solutions, no matter how much we want them too. We're a species ruinously divorced from the environment we evolved in, and sort of washed up on the shores of a world we can't navigate. No wonder things are bleak for many of our fellow apes.My theme of the day is: both sides are shitty and use the same tactics, at this point. You can't believe anything you read. It’s been this way for a while. Anyone that supported the orange man has known this since like 2016.Seems like "Democracy" is now just rule by the media apparatus (unelected branch of the government). Anything or any information/beliefs they don't like is a "threat to democracy" which is why they hate Twitter and Facebook
