All media and all sides of every political system are controlled by the exact same power
No less the ''alternative media''

Fuck diet soda, drink regular soda, if you need to drink so much soda that you're worried about the sugar's effect on you, then just drink less soda. Soda is shit anyway.

Fuck aspartame. In its jugglypuff

Correct for a large portion of it. This doesn't necessarily mean that it's 100% pure corruption every anchor and writer, every show, every outlet - but the powers to be ultra rich have things like Newscorp in place with Rupert Murdoch at the head.

If I took charge of one publication, then another, then another - I'd aspire to host a variety of angles which I both agree and vehemently disagree with. I imagine some of the conglomerates might feel at least a bit similar. Freedom of speech is a big issue on all sides. Some sides more just for themselves than others.

Newscorp is the majority of mainstream ‘right wing’ and The Wallstreet Journal and Fox. This is a supreme example, and one where I feel a larger prevalence of corruption, ranging from ulterior motives to flat out political hijacking occurs.

They missed some left-leaning slurs, I noticed. "shit libs" (I have seen that term probably 200 times in this forum in recent times, it's everywhere), "libsurgents" (popular in the Bush years)... also neolibs.

Has anyone noticed the establishments new strategy for explaining the classified documents scandal. They are framing it as, whoever ‘reacted better’ to finding out they mishandled documents, is the one in the right?? I don’t even know, it’s so bizarre and disconnected I don’t even want to believe the lemmings and Reddit type people would realize how stupid this deflection is.
They knew what drumpf had and asked him to use another lock, in which he did. Biden was a vp and just left classified documents in his garage, among other places. I think it’s all a distraction, but I just can’t believe people take the establishment press at face value. I bet npr and other places run with this too. You murdered someone, but let’s not look at the charges we will discuss who reacted better to finding out they broke the law 🥴

All of the shooters and people killed are black but this is the image Reuters used

TBH it is soooo hard to find a nuetral media source. It seems like we all just end up watching the news channel that regurgitates our sides views on things. I don’t think ANY media source is unbiased these days.

It’s so obvious that the media is weaponized by both sides. It’s almost as if it’s a hidden plot to keep us focused on the sides and on how the other side is the enemy. We will never make progress until we can unite and discuss issues with a sincere aim to understand the other sides view and consider it. If it doesn’t seem correct still then I’ll keep my view but it just seems like we can’t come together. Most of the people in America anyway.

Until we can collaborate we will never make progress…sorry just ranting…

So frustrating and I think it may be the downfall of America if it doesn’t change.

I have explored views on here that originally I didn’t agree with but then after exploring in a genuine way I did change my view on a subject or two. Some I didn’t change my mind on but that was still after considering the other persons view. So I know it’s possible. Just doesn’t help when it seems like the powers that be want us to hate the other side.

We all can make a difference however small, it adds up. For example, I’m no saint but it seems like they want us to hate each other even with race. So, I always treated black ppl equally as I would anyone else but idk if this is the right way or not but I find myself going an extra mile to help black people in my life to try to fight against this push I feel that is in the media to hate each other. I mean I’ve always had black friends and almost exclusively when I was younger. I was in a gang and we were close but now idk I just feel compelled to help more when I see an opportunity. Idk if I’m explaining this right.
