Well i just talked to "the linden method" support today. The counselor i talked to knew everything about mdma/weed induced dp/dr. So im gonna go at it. Yes its cbt in many ways but regardless of the dp/dr that i cant alter or do anything about. I can put all my focus on killing the anxiety and depression. If you are happy and fucked in a billion ways. You are still happy right? So im gonna give it a shot. 1 year support and counseling and so much more for a measly fee. In the eye of mental pain money has no value. So im working even if the derealization sucks, going to therapy and soon the linden method. If that does not help then i dont know what will. Cant medicate dp/dr away :/.

Nose bleeds? oh god thats scary. I have no blood pressure issues AT ALL. If I had nosebleeds it would torment me. Hang in there man. I'm going to take a break off the forums for couple days, everytime I see a new symptom in these comments I start having them.

I am not sure if you would consider nosebleeds part of the ltc. I would definitely get that checked out. Zebrafish are you fully recovered as if I remember from your older threads I was reading you were having a hard time. My masters degree in business is essentialy useless right now as my brain is just gone.

Hello, I need consulting.

I am suffering from a LTC and are days away from passing 3 months. Today I suddenly felt the urge to break up with my girlfriend. I have thought of it sometimes but today the anxiety hit me like a bomb.

I met her soon after I broke up with my ex, for about a year ago and before we got together officially I met some other girls which I told her. That effected our relationship I could see because of the fights often over nothing.

Before we officially got together I was not sure to do it or not, but I did it mostly of fear of losing her. She is a fantastic woman. And also my only support I have during this LTC.

I just felt to write this...

Dont do it bro. Im on month 5. Dont let it beat you. We will all get through it. Be strong.

Can't tell you how happy I am to have found this thread, at least I now know I'm not alone and that I can recover from this. The thing that's tripping me up are these anxiety related existential thoughts

Strangestuff,

Which hormone(s) were found to be deficient in your case? Which test found the abnormality?

Simple blood tests. I had low LH/FSH, Testosterone, and somewhat low Cortisol (around 10 at 8 AM). Additionally, my pregnenolone was really low. However, they were still technically in the normal range as given by the lab but low enough for my age to cause symptoms. The lab ranges are very wide and its rare for people to be outside of the ranges by a lot. HCG is supposed to bring up my T level and indirectly bring up my Cortisol by bringing up pregnenolone. In order to test cortisol, the best test seems to be a new dried urine test from precision laboratories though http://www.precisionhormones.com/. I haven't done it yet but I may in the future. Really anybody with anxiety/depression should get cortisol tested as well as testosterone, thyroid. For thyroid tests (which were normal in my case), its important to get the FULL panel including TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Total T4, and even Reverse T3.

Ok. Please keep me posted on how you respond to the HCG over the coming weeks, as I am really curious. I have been toying with the idea that this is an underlying pituitary dysfunction that we have since last year (see my old posts), although my serum AM cortisol levels were within normal limits. But I am considering getting a ACTH stimulation test and possibly even a metapyrone test to further characterize the responsiveness of my HPA axis.

The thoughts will go away. Keep yourself busy and stay positive. Im still looking fir answers to why i have gerd and why my nose bleeds from time to time.

Well good luck getting a metyrapone test lol. The ACTH stim test will likely be normal--you certainly do not have a direct problem with the adrenals. Adrenal fatigue is really nervous system dysregulation. Read this by a good psychoneuroendo in CA http://www.definitivemind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=560. And this http://www.definitivemind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90. HPA dysregulation is possibly the best theory out there. It explains why symptoms change so much and it explains why this is reversible.
