MAPS MDMA and the NIH

Hey,

I was informed a few months ago about a multi million dollar program going on at the National Institute of health right now for MDMA. Does anyone know if MAPS is connected with this?

MAPS is currently involved with a small ($1.5m) MDMA-assisted psychotherapy trial for war veterans. Their research page indicates that "MAPS is undertaking a 10 year, $15 million plan to make MDMA into an FDA-approved prescription medicine, and is currently the only organization in the world funding clinical trials of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy." I can't say whether this is directly associated with the NIH; lots of research has been done in other countries.

EDIT: MAPS is strait OG badass in my book love and light thank you to all involved and who have risked there lives. There is a war oversears, and a war right here at home.
