Personally I don't believe that is true, I think there is more going on than we currently understand and that the religions of old were dimly aware of this 'other' factor.

People are reluctant to let go of things that may actually be causing them (and society) harm. We cling to things that help us deal with the pain, whether it be drugs or the idea that changing sex might alleviate suffering. The real underlying causes are not acknowledged - we are living out of balance. If we ever got back into a state of balance I think it would be easy to see what are negative influences.. our world is so debased that we lack the necessary contrast to triangulate the truth, psychologically speaking.

I get what you’re saying but to find out that other "disease" lets call it that you’re referring to that’s the problem. To fix it would involve a total dismantling of modern society and working and capitalism….the things are these things are themselves "natural" when you have an animal population that is so overpopulated like humans, smart enough to overpopulate and increase life and limited resources and ppl living until 90.

Make the only worry humans have be hunting food and finding water…like it was for 100s of thousands of years and all this shit goes away

I have to disagree with you on stopping ppl from doing shit that’s bad for them. Individual choice to destroy oneself is more valuable than any benefit gained by forcing ppl to act a certain way

First let us compare USA and another country very armed in fact lets use several countries very very armed to the teeth and citizens as well as military. watching that body cam footage reminded me too much of video games for my liking...

i'm pretty sure i was reading a poster saying one of the reasons they were in a psychward was because they thought video games they were playing were effecting real world violence... it looks like it comes from the same type of dream realm. it's the same pace, the turns are the same... i don't like it... lol... i felt kind of like a voyer watching it on t.v., like i expected some one to get shot and shit. i just wanted to see what they'd show on t.v. mostly. seemed like bad to be watching, but i watched anyways.

A quick aside I had to mention because it disturbs me, I mention it because of the "he/him" status on the above shooter's Twitter account... tonight at band practice, my bandmate mentioned that his neighbor has a sort of commune they're running (he lives way out in the boonies in the mountains). It's a commune of trans people. I knew that, cool, I think that's great, I support it. Except that tonight he mentioned that we shouldn't play with the windows open because the neighbors are training with assault trifles to form a "trans liberation army", and he wants to stay on their good side. Then he and my other bandmate we like oh, wow, I really support what they're doing, it's awesome. I was like wait, you do? What does that liberation look like? Killing the cisgender people who piss you off? How is that awesome?

I originally posted this Twitter account in this thread because I believe that this incident is an outlier but also because shortly before actually beginning the incident the shooter called one of their childhood friends to say "goodbye" and to to say that the shooter had intentionally left enough evidence to explain why the shooter felt that this had to be done, I certainly hope that this crime is not "copycatted" in the future.


So far the police have not released the information that the shooter mentioned in that last phone call, however they did hint that it exists.

When you grow up around them, you gain a certain respect for them ime. I just have a 1911, sig 9mm, built a few AR15s, shotgun, and savage arms 270 with an ok scope. They all have a purpose, and I rarely look at them unless I’m shooting or cleaning.
