The usa has the biggest military in the world, even with every citizen armed. They would all have to agree on one thing, which would never happen. Jan 6th could have been stopped if the military really wanted it to. Killing your own people don't look to good though

I meant like now they act like it never happened. You know if the parties were reversed the word "insurrection" would never have been used and there would have been a massive investigation over Babbit and the cop would be in prison rn.

Guess they found a dead guy at an amusement park in Colorado with a rifle, pistol, extra mags and IED's and a note that said "I am not a killer" and it looks like he killed himself. Seems pretty weird

I think it's fair to talk about the double standard in the media coverage though. That shooting should've been covered like all the others.

2 is an important point. Of course not, but when you have a coordinated campaign to promote trans people and cover up their transgressions when individuals do bad things, that simply feeds into the culture war and hands the anti-trans people an easy win.
If members of an activists community commit horrible crimes, the activist community needs to condemn the horrible acts and not defend and celebrate the perpetrators.
Weird that this sort of thing is happening in multiple progressive communities.
