That's some disturbing shit.I got on his YouTube channel before they took it down and there was a clip filmed from the back of a truck that went down the parade route as the emergency broadcast signal played... Also a longer clip of the same video that kept repeating while Norman Greenbaum's Spirit in the sky played.
These were posted like a year before the shooting.
Obviously social media has become a central part in determining who will go extreme and shoot random people... we keep finding out after the fact that the majority of these kids published videos and writing that alludes to their planned killings. How do we keep ignoring this? Yes there should be some great degree of free speech; no one should go to jail for writing a book or directing a film, but how do we determine where the line is drawn from, "This is just some angsty person's ranting," to, "Oh my goodness this guy is a mass murderer/plans to be one."?
If my friend said, "I'm gonna go shoot up a crowd of people," I'd probably be on the phone to the police within' minutes of hearing that. I know many of these kids don't have friends... but they do? They're always telling someone on social media ahead of their attacks. Always.
How did the NSA drop the ball here? Too busy surveilling non-violent drug users to pick up on all these Zoomers preparing heinous murder plots months, years before they occur?
