Okay so I wanted to get a discussion started about how the marquis might react to a meth cut pill. I've always been under the impression that the marquis would give a very distinct and easy to see reaction for a meth cut pill. I'm must apologize to all you allz for any reports that I have posted saying a pill was clean when it might have had meth in them. I've always thought a reaction such as the one I had for the grey aliens I recently tested if a pill was cut with meth. The way that reaction went down was it turned black but after a minute or so there was a very obvious bright yellow/orange ring around the outside of the reagent puddle. Now after a recent PR post of mine on the green McDonalds I see there is much more to it than just this obvious type of shit.

Like there have been many o times when I watched what I thought to be just a slow reaction where I thought the reagent was just brown at first just cuz of the slowness. Then the reagent would take to a solid black or purple with no other color present around the outside of the reagent. What are all the different was the reagent can and will react to a pill with MDxx cut with meth? And of those different way it might react, what is the most likely scenario of the contents of the pill?

The slow, brown reaction at first then a dark black reaction can be a sign of a very low amp content. It can take a while to learn all the nuances of these reagents, so don't feel bad.

With Marquis, sometimes you will see the orange ring around the black reaction too, which is also indicative of amps, but a low dosage. Very faint streaks of orange can also be signs of low amp content. I like to swirl my reagent around on the plate to see if any other colors are hiding out (and I'm naturally curious). :) The general rule of thumb with Marquis is the more orange you see, the higher the amp content.

So what about yellow streaks? Like I saw what appeared to be yellow streaks in the last test I performed and thought that this was a sign of amp. It was clearly yellow not orange though.

I know we are getting off into speculation at this point but I read something just now that makes me think that it could be possible the yellow could have turned green if I left it longer. 2c turns yellow then to green. Who knows. I should have the chance to test them again in the next few days so I will watch for a little longer and see what I find from that.
