Are there any scientific studies which have proven how long the body stops depositing THC into hair follicles and if there is any difference between body hair and head hair? i.e. giving us the optimal time frame to shave hair while allowing it to grow enough in preparation for testing?

I ask because I can't seem to find scientific studies which definitively give a real answer. Some people say 3 months even for first time use for THC to stop showing up in new grown hair.

3 months is nonsense for a one time smoke.

How much have you been smoking?

No drug testing-related question allowed at Bluelight. Sorry---
I've just read the thread entitled "RULES" and drug-testing is not mentioned. Where's the related rule? I believe there is one since it is often mentioned but where is it?

Besides, is a question about survival of a drug or its metabolites in body tissue a question about drug-testing? Relation to drug-testing can be *suspected*, that's all. Maybe we should play the game of suspecting what each poster is up to when starting a thread? Like they might actually be doing drugs ...

Except when (as in this case) the OP specifically asks about drug testing.

Yes, that's right. Silly of him to do so (and of me not noticing he did).

Note that all body hair is suitable for testing, not only scalp hair. Quite apart from the fact that showing up with a totally shaven body might give them the idea of locking you up for a few months to let hair regrow in jail. Plus adding a charge of obstructing the course of justice.

I've read 3 months is the usual time-span for detection in hair, except in case of heavy usage where detection can go back as far as 2 years. The exact time of consumption cannot be pinpointed however, owing to the fact that metabolites travel along the hair with time. So althoug you can fine-tune your lie about when it happened, it is seldom a good idea to deny consumption except a light consumption going more than 3 months back.

Yep, the "No drug testing-question"-rule is indeed not explicitely mentioned in the "RULES"-thread, but was consequently enforced in ADD (dunno if at all Bluelight-forums) since I registered.

And I'm sure that the OP was referring directly to testing, 'coz he wrote:

There's not much to suspect after reading the final sentence though; it's rather clear that he tries to avoid being tested positive.

But anyway, as long as this thread stays open - go ahead! Seriously.
I'm (obviously) not a moderator and can't shut it down nor am I willing to report it.
