I smoke regularly but I keep a very strict 3,400 cal diet of lean meats (chicken, steak, etc) and veggies to keep protein up. Since the start of this year, I have put on 15 pounds of muscle NATURALLY while smoking daily (or the majority of the week).
My appetite has been relatively unaffected, and I have been smoking for ~4 years, but more so now than ever.
I find that my semi-bodybuilding goals have offset any damage my drug use may have caused. I do know kids who had lost weight, and some who have gained. It is up to the user, I suppose.
