After what seemed like an eternity, I finally decided to register and participate in topics and discussions here and there.
I have been a silent reader since 2009. Between 2010 and 2016 my time spent on bluelight and various boards was very excessive. Up until now I am still a diligent reader. For just 15 years my lazy ass never considered signing up. Funny, eh? Even if my online time is decreasing more and more I am deeply happy to be here now - especially after spending a significant amount of my leisure (and maybe hundreds hours working
) time.
What I like about bluelight is its (mostly) friendly, respectful, openminded, helpful, funny and professional community through its various topics and subject areas. And of course its still active members I have been reading from since 2009.

My interests lie broadly across all classes of substances and everything related to health, chemistry, politics and society. Despite having seen and touched a lot of different substances my personal experience is less than it may seem. In my younger years I had all the typical lessons with cannabis, stimulants for partying like cocaine, mdma, amphetamine, meth, some psychedelics like lsd, psilocybin, 2c-x, 5-meo-x and ketamine.
During a very long abstinence phase (only passive „contact“) forced by life obligations like job, society, health I changed my attitude towards drugs from solely recreational to useful and meaningful purposes. My lifelong drugmates either got completely sober or are still using just to get high. My point of view has changed in that I now use these substances more purposefully and, to be honest, I subconsciously/consciously numb unpleasant feelings and areas with them.
Please forgive my broken english. In my work, family and friendships I have almost no reason to write or speak English - reading and listening is not a problem. i have to rely on long forgotten school memories.
So this was my short and sweet way to say Hello! At least more words than in my longest school essays.
