Lucky pickup?

The other day I got a pick-up of what was supposed to be mids, smelled like mids and tasted like mids (but looked a bit better than what my friends got from the same guy) and after a day in a small glass jar the whole weed changed! It got a very fruity and citrusy smell and it tastes sweet and citrusy (my friends say pomegranate but I think it tastes more like grapefruit) As far as I can remember the high didn't change very much, but then again I don't really remember much about my weekend anyways.
Right now I'm wondering how the weed could go through this transition in less than 24 hours, and my only guess is that the smell was masked by the dank I had with me at the time. Anyone else ever had this happen?

you said it smelled liked mids, but at the end you say the mid smell mightve been masked by the dank you had, which one was it? Eitheir way if it didnt change in potency its not big matter.

If the high did not change, the weed did not change. Glass is a good way to store way but it ain't an infomercial toted way to make mids into heads.

maybe residue from something citrusy was in the glass jar and it got on your weed

usually when i smoke lemon kush or pineapple og (my favorite) i can slightly taste the flavor

I'd blame it on the glass being used for many different strains

Keeping your herb inside of a glass jar for a few hours keeps the smell contained until you open it, and then the smell is much stronger than before. Keep the lid off for a few minutes and it may lose it's strong scent.
