LSD/Psilocybin first time in years

Hey y'all, this is my first time posting on Bluelight. Basically I have been wanting to experiment with psychedelics. I am in recovery and have been sober for 3 and a half years. DOC was methamphetamine, but I would do whatever I could. I want to mindfully try hallucinogens again. I have taken lsd and psilocybin 3 times each and have had mixed reactions, two being wonderful times. What I did wrong the other times was not pay attention to set and setting. I am prescribed risperidone, lithium and propranolol for mood disorder and anxiety, and I have felt better than I have in my whole life the past few months. I bounced this off my mental health nurse practitioner recently and he said his only question was on drug interactions, which he wasn't educated on. He did say he believes psychedelics are the future of mental health treatment, and that he suggests I start with a low dose of psilocybin to see how I react because it's less intense than lsd. So basically I'd appreciate any feedback on what I just wrote, mainly on interactions with my prescription meds. Thanks!

Lithium does NOT go well with psychedelics. People have had seizures mixing those two.

I wouldn't do it.

risperidone is going to completely block the effects of both LSD and psilocybin, you would have to stop taking it for a few weeks (or potentially longer depending on what dose/form you take) to be able to trip, which isn't really a suggestable thing to do as that could backfire on itself

and you would have to stop the lithium as well

risperidone is a complete LSD antagonist and it's quite literally impossible to trip when you're on it, you'll feel nothing but mild stimulation, zero visuals. Trust me, I've tried.

I wouldn’t call mushrooms less intense than LSD, it’s all in the dose my dude, shrooms can take you to a pretty funky place at 7-14 grams
