I'm planning a trip up the coast from Melbourne to Brisbane for Easter Adventjah, stopping first to play in Sydney for a while...
What I wanna know is, who wants to come along?
biggrin.gif

Details are very sketchy at the moment, and subject to change depending on who's coming and financial status.
It's still a while away tho, so plenty of time to plan...
I was thinking of either a plane or train trip, because after what the Brissy and Sydney crews went through to get to Earthcore I don't know if a car trip would be all that advisable
smile.gif

However and interstate car convoy up the coast would be an adventure for sure! But it would require quite a bit of planning to pull off...
Anyway, throw some ideas at me
smile.gif

yeah, i might be up fer it
smile.gif

i think plane. so damn cheap and the train takes too long. BUT...you can smoke joints on the train. hmmmm
I took a pill on the plane coming back from Vienna. Not advisable. Sitting in thi cramped fricken chair, the girl next to me was a snob and didnt want to talk, and I couldnt dance. annnnnnnyway
yeah, i'll be up for it. We have to stop in bathurst and visit mona tho

geez guys you have to give us a little chance for our Post-EC excitement levels to reside before dropping a corker like this one
smile.gif
(i just wanted to use the word corker)
HC
Bring it on tho
smile.gif

well.. I am soo up for that it's not funny!
my life is now to be geared up in preperation for this Event-jah.. *grins*
Much as plane would be nice.,.. I am a sad, poverty stricken person and train would seem to be far better than bus.
so yes.. I will be there with bells on.

I would highly recommend plane travel peoples.
Unlike EC, there is no need for tents, and all that shit. Air matress's, perhaps - depends how hardcore you are i guess
smile.gif

There are bulk places to crash. faaark! no more organising for me for this week. seems i only just finished org-ing EC. i'll try again in a few days
wink.gif

grrrr down excitement level.. DOWN!
HC

If it's around the school holiday period then I'd love to go.
However I'd just like to say that I think we should drive up
smile.gif
. If we have a few drivers among us we could all take turns
smile.gif
.
Just let me know the dates and I'll see from there.

Could be in for this.
Driving sounds like a go-er. Sharing is caring
smile.gif

I don't think we'll be lugging trailer-loads of equipment like you crazy Earthcorians did, so it shouldn't be too much hassle.
Get back to me in a few months and ask me again then

BLUELIGHT BENEFIT PARTY
Featuring Bluelight's very own home-grown talent!
Saturday 20th January 2001
Please visit this thread for the full details.

I'm from sydney but my bf and i are up for another advent'jah. We went to the one in dec '99 and had a complete adventure. It was great! We were thinking of going to Melb for twotribes but if there is an easter adventjah we'd rather go there as we were in melb for NYE!
I vote for driving (then again we don't have as far to drive as you melbournites). Driving makes it more of an adventure!
btw Tarsarlan where did u get the info about this party from?

and da bonus for this years advent*jahhhhh is (as i said in the other thread) is it starts at midday (all ages until 10pm) then officially goes to 5am and most likely they will continue on unlicenced to 10am and then after that more afterparties so there should be atleast 24hours of entertainment and if u miss a dj during the all ages part u can probably catch em after 10pm sometime. I should get to cover it again for ministry mag (The FIRST australian issue with my article on decembers advent*jah is out on the 17th-this month plug plug) but yeah a big bluelighters cheesy grin pick should be in order and hopefully it will turn out so it can go on the article for that advent*jah
(oh yeah there is a pic of two certain(pill wearing) bluelighters in the first issue) but u didn't hear that from me
anyway better start saving for advent*jah girls and boys

'just wait until this song is finished then i'll go :)'

Nice work tarsy, nice work
smile.gif

We will have to organise one of our recoveries for you guys
smile.gif

WE NEED G THOUGH!!!!!
wink.gif

Hazza: We won't be taking a tent up this time... Thanks anyway!
wink.gif

As tidygirl said, I got the info from the other thread and from the Brissy Crew...
I looked up a few prices, found some train and plane prices, plane seems cheaper if you book over the internet...
Does anyone have any links to train/plane booking services? The more info I can get the better ...I'll try some travel agencies closer to the date... (which also needs to be worked out... When is Easter this year?)
However, if most people aren't too fussed with driving up, I can handle that, just depends on what everyone would prefer...

*ahem*... melbourne.. *cough*..ppl aren't up for a ..*grumble*..road-trip. *cough*.. so very lame...
wink.gif

is cheap, is good.
------------------
now is the time....

Hey Tidygirl,
What will make it even better for all is that there is going to be a BLUELIGHT stall..a place for bluelighter to chill, chat, etc, we could use it as a meetup point for everyone, people can leave bags and jumpers there, and know that all is peachy...you better make sure you get some pics of that too!!!
wink.gif

Well seeing as though it's on Easter Monday, I'm like 99.9999 % sure that I can go up there. Was a bit worried that it could have been on the Thursday or something, but all is good. Fuck the last time I went up to Bris was 4 yrs ago and I loved it.
Hmmm so I see there's going to be a Sydney stopoff. Would that be on the way there or on the way back ?????????????
BTW if there's going to be a Sydney stopoff then wouldn't it be better if we drove up rather than catching a plane from Melb to Syd to Bris, or vice versa. Also I say as far as driving up there goes I say we should hire a couple of vans so that we can say take turns driving and that way we wouldn't be as tired as opposed to us all driving our own cars.
Just my thoughts anyway. I'm getting wayyyy tooo excited tooo sooooon.
This would make up for me not going to EC
smile.gif

P.S: Fat Tony I'm not lame like the others

Hey I'm up for a road trip - i'm just not sure whether my car is
wink.gif

Pekkie: The Sydney Stopoff will be on the way up there because we'll havta pick up of few of them on the way through... Actually, I guess we could just pick em up and drive through, then spend some time there afterwards... Nah, I'd prefer spending some time there before Advent'Jah, but yeah, whatever everyone decides...
