Have any scientific studies been published that have determined the mechanism of action of leonurine? Its chemical structure is fairly similar to agmatine, a neurotransmitter which acts on nicotinic receptors, as an antagonist at NMDA and GABA receptors, and on 5-HT2A and 5-HT3 receptors. Could this be how leonurine works?
