ketamine seized at Post office

I realize this is not that correct forum but i think it deserves a post in this one as well as the media busts just so people are aware.....200+ viles of ketamine were intercepted by the police in massachusetts...I'm not sure exactly when this happend but it was on the news last night..They said the product came from the west coast which is somewhat good news IMO for certain reasons. I havn't been able to find an article for it yet but if i do or anyone else does please post it...THe kid who got arrested may be doing 10 years..I wish i knew all the details like how it got intercepted and such..I don't see why anyone would send a shitload of vials through the mail but i guess it happens... Just figured i'd you people know if you don't already....
 
Weird, 200 vials ain't shit, surprised it made the news.. plus it's a C-III drug, so it's not like it was ecstasy or something..

those are the ones we're fighting now, i think.
and yeah, 200 vials is nothing, although they'll make it seem like it a lot it's probably enough for like, a weekend.

Damn this happened in my home town - Scituate, Massachusetts. The kid was getting a shipment of $500,000 worth of K (So I've heard) and they busted him at the PO. BUnch of his old friends were talking about it yesterday at the skatepark.
 
Ya i don't know exactly how much was seized it was probably more the 200 vials...I just think its weird. Supposedly large amounts of money were being wired and being watched
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but dont vials carry extra charges for being a pharmaceutical product? K used in lab research, though scheduled, should be at least one charge less than vials. Steroids aren't scheduled but they are illegal without a perscription. Whatever the charge for that crime is probably be applied to getting caught with ketamine vials along with the charge of having a scheduled drug.
Also, the case is federal cuase the crime crossed state lines. Federal laws are usually worse than state.
And, it's another crime in itself to use the US Postal service as a way of delivering drugs. That's more time. Does anyone know the specific charge and penalty for that?
 
Btw, the largest K bust to date happened in the same state. Customs busted a guy ordering a kilo of lab grade about a year ago. That was the biggest at the time and I haven't heard of anything greater.
 
man,this is a decent sized bust,especially when it comes to domestic mail seizures,cuz they HARDLY ever happen!!!i wonder how they caught onto the package and set the guy up???musta followed him and seen that he was wiring shitloads of cash to cali or whatever..
i think it was purchased in MEX,so the KETA was TTOKYO LABS,and sent from CALI i believe..why is this good news to you that it was sent from the west coast???
200 10 ML vials????that equals about $200,000 in street value IMO...

Hey, I heard about this on the news too. They are saying that it has a street value of 500,000 dollars because of the estimated number of "hits" and anticipating that it would be sold for $20 a hit. They had all the shit on this table in front of a police officer, and it did look like a decent amount of K. The way the media is portraying it is that K is this big bad rape drug and that parents and young girls better beware. Gawd, why do journalists have to be so stupid......

500,000? *phbbt* i wouldn't pay more than like $60 for a single vile (not that i'd buy K anyway), and at bulk rate it'd be even cheaper probably less than $100,000

I had no idea how much it was worth, other than hearing from this girl that knows him that he was caught with half a million dollars worth of K. I wouldn't be surprised if this is an optimistic figure.
 
It was actually 500 liqs, and the kid that picked them up was an idiot. When he pulled up to the P.O. there was all kinds of police cars out front and inside, and he still signed for the package. The media and cops up here in MA. have absolutly no clue about K. They call it the "date rape drug", when in fact G is the date rape drug, and they inflated the price of it. Also it is class b, or the same as cocaine.
