ketamine or nitrous oxide for dental procedure?

she's 5. she's having a bunch of cavities filled so it's definitely not major or even minor surgery, just a minor dental procedure that needs to be taken care of under anesthesia because she wouldn't allow the dentists to work on her otherwise. it's still a very nerve-wracking ordeal but i'm sure we'll both get through it fine.

I think she should be fine with a combo of midazolam and N2O. Midazolam should make he very droopy, loopy, and probably not very aware of what is going on, on top of the anxiolytic that it has.

Child and infant are two different things I'm pretty sure no drug has any absolute level of safety in a child younger than 1y

When I said real young I meant infant young.

why would an infant be having dental surgery as they have no teeth?
