I would think that ketamine solutions would basically never go bad if stored in typical conditions.Does that it might go bad in 10 Years or less or more or who knows?
I don't think it matters too much. I would prefer to have ketamine as a solid powder than a solution but that's just me.So does this mean I should dry them out if they turn brown or should I dry them out before the 10 year mark if I haven't used my vials?
Brown coloration does not neccesarily imply that the ketamine has gone bad. As little as a few parts per thousand of colored impurity could produce visible coloration.
On top of all this, chemically speaking, ketamine is a pretty durable molecule. There's no obvious pathway for decomposition in aqueous solution I can think of - no groups that may be hydrolysed / oxidised etc.
