This is me 2 years ago. It didn't work as both sides often think I oppose them. That didn't stop me though, I still don't choose to be either side. The issues are far too complicated to be chosen by solely by association to either side and deserve my full attention and concentration before choosing what position I take.

Vote blue no matter who and
Vote red till I'm dead people are NOT smart, NOT critical thinkers and it's really sad. I'm also a Libra so I can see both sides to everything.

i often read in this forum that npr, cnn and msnbc are liberal, state-run media but they all covered it and explicitly called out violence.

No problem. Life drives me crazy every day. I get defensive and hurt when people call me names. Arrogant, full of myself, stuck up, preppy bitch. I have strong opinions and I'm not afraid to share them. At 36, I think I'm allowed that after everything I've been through 😭

I just want users to be SAFE, I give a fuck and CARE about people. It sucks. I'm a massage therapist and an empath. I know I can't control other people, I just want the best for everyone, including you.

it's important because it shows how far qanon morons are willing to go to attempt to subvert our elections through terrorism.

i, for one, care about maintaining our semblance of democracy (at least), and the integrity of our constitution (for better or for worse).

sure, it was a SHITTY attempt, one that would have failed NO MATTER if they had had their way with pence, aoc, pelosi, and any other random senator (d or r) that they could have gotten their grubby hands on... but it was a very blatant attempt to use terrorism to force the gubment to overturn a duly held election.

this shit is important when we've got a country with plenty of heavily armed christian nationalists... gotta be mentally prepared for anything, and jan. 6 showed us they basically don't have limits.

I was talking to my best friend today and he thinks that Trump will eventually be indicted and convicted of sedition.
As much I'd like to see that, I think my friend is delusional.

yeah, i think the current administration is always afraid of setting the precedent for fear of being tried for war crimes or whatever by the next admin.

Ive never voted and probably won't as its pointless but if trump manages to run again I think i'll cast my vote for him in honor of you. Your buddy Mike Fanone voted for trump, I thought all trump supporters are racist and are part of the problem? That crowd probably never said anything of the sort and he probably embellished the "Danger" so he could make a few shekels selling a book.
