Funny story about looters.

I was always with the 5:30 crew at the clinic. The whole block was smashed up that morning. Looters driving by asking if we are looting. One of the clinic kids decided to walk into the metro PCS and fill up 2 garbage bags of stuff. He OD and died 2 days later. You cannot steal.

He was scum. 40 years old, lived with his mom, and worked min wage jobs. Plus a good portion of the looters that drove by were not black.

You guys probably read too much news and not in the inner city to see with your own eyes. Those fuckers even destroyed my friends boost mobile shop. He was greek. Had nothing to do with the police or black people.

The issue is poor leadership imo

Now in regard to this cop. I were in control he would of been crucified the next day in front of kenosha courthouse. And thats the issue. No swift justice (while the past lingers). He is gonna milk the courts. Sit in a prison. While our tax dollars pay for his keep. And perhaps finally executed (not sure if WI has death penalty and to lazy to google). 10 year process? lol

While their is a big movement in the black community against black on black and gang violence you don't really see the same wave of white turn out for that.

From what I've seen of this specific situation. It seems like the cop might have been justified in opening fire. It's a bit hard to tell. The real problem I see is how the situation got to that point to start with.

This is something that I've noticed many in the right have a lot of trouble with. Which is surprising given how much they otherwise worship the constitution.

Everyone has rights. Everyone. What they've done in the past doesn't matter. What they've been found guilty of doesn't matter. They have the same rights as anyone else. Including a right to not be subject to summery execution.
 
You're a mod and no disrespect. The cop had no right to empty a near full clip on his back. Taze? Yes. Tackle? Yes. Unload a clip point blank on someones back. No. Guy was simply walking away peacefully into his car filled with his kids.

Glad he lived. Gonna get paid. And transfer to his children.

As for his history. Nobody is perfect. Past is the past. He was free so obviously paid his dues.

Had he grabbed something from his car and turned around, perhaps. He was getting into it.....

Here's the issue I'm having here. Did the cops know there was no gun in the car? I'm assuming not.

OK so, he coulda grabbed a gun, turned around and put a bullet in a cop in under a second once he was reaching into the car. Which also happens to be when they opened fire.

The rule is that you can use lethal force at the point when a reasonable person would be inclined to believe their life, or someone else's, is in immediate danger of death or severe injury.

Putting myself in the cops position, at the point when he reaches into the car, I would feel I was in immediate danger of being shot under the circumstances. And I think so would most people. That makes it justified.

The problem I have, is why was he able to reach into his car at all? How is it they so spectacularly failed to bring him under control before the situation got to that point. That's the question I think needs to be answered to determine if there was criminal misconduct by the cops.

EDIT: btw don't worry about me being a mod. So long as you don't say something really abusive nothing gonna happen from disagreeing with me. :) <3
 
But why did the cop trail him to his car? With a gun pointed? He was 10 yards away when confronted. Poor police skills not to restrain him immediately if they felt threatened. They could of tazed him as soon as he started to walk. Instead trailed him with a gun point blank. Doesnt seem right at all.

So WI no death penalty. He will rot in prison for life. He won't make it long, though. Will be sitting in 23/7 lockdown for life because gen pop will tear him up. I have to google where he is now. Probably shaking like a pussy in county.

As I understand it they had already attempted to tase him twice. For whatever reason they weren't able to bring him under control.

Depending on what equipment they had on them, they may not have been able to attempt to tase him again.

But I agree it seems unlikely that there wasn't a way to get him under control before things got to the point that they did.

there are posters in this forum who've said that shouting in somebody's face is justification enough for summary execution, so nothing surprises me at this point...
