Israel is under attack

Hamas follows evacuation orders? That's news to me.
In fact, Reuters has reported from the very beginning of this conflict that Hamas has repeated told civilians NOT to evacuate:

Oct 13 (Reuters) - Mosques broadcast messages telling Gaza Strip residents to stay put on Friday, in defiance of an Israeli military call for more than a million civilians to move south within 24 hours in the build-up to its expected ground offensive.
Leaders of the enclave's governing militant group Hamas also urged Palestinians to ignore the call, and by Friday afternoon there were no signs of any mass exodus from the north of the enclave.

Any incursion into the densely populated territory would be a pivotal moment in Israel's war with Hamas, which on Saturday launched the bloodiest attack on the country since the 1973 Arab-Israeli war.
Israel has already mounted the heaviest air strikes on Gaza ever, and has mobilised 300,000 reservists and amassed tanks near the border in response to the Hamas assault.
In Gaza, the threats of a ground invasion conjured up images of the Nakba, the Arabic word for catastrophe that refers to the 1948 war of Israel's creation that led to their mass dispossession.

Gaza analyst Talal Okal described the Israeli relocation order as an “attempt to push the Palestinian people of Gaza into Nakba".
“Like they did in 1948 when they pushed people out of historical Palestine by dropping barrels of explosives on their heads, today Israel is repeating this before the eyes of the world and live cameras,” Okal told Reuters.
The Israeli military told the civilians of Gaza City to "evacuate south for your own safety and the safety of your families and distance yourself from Hamas terrorists who are using you as human shields."

In Gaza, mosques broadcast the message: "Hold on to your homes. Hold on to your land."

@someguyontheinternet , I'm curious why you never engage with any if my responses. It seems like you just ignore things I say, then a few days later post more links with no context or original thoughts of your own.

That's fine, you're of course free to do as you wish. I'm just not going to continue reading the stuff you link and responding to it, asking you questions, etc if you're never going to participate in actual dialogue.

Al-Qaeda joins the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Houthis, and Hamas in expressing enthusiastic support of the student demonstrations in the US:

The left was outraged at women being executed in Iran simply for not wearing a hijab. Remember those riots a few years ago?

The enemies of my enemies are my friend?

I thought it was rather obvious this was happening. I saw videos of their "influencers" at work, months ago. They have tons of them.

Really no surprise, though. Every side does that during war.

There are also trolls pushing out insane amounts of highly skewed/unfactual anti-Israel content as well, quite visible all over reddit, there are several subreddits for it. /r/IsraelExposed is probably the most egregious. I believe both the Islamic States, and in particular Russia, have a hand in it.

Yes but no Jews, no news.

Hamas and other Islamist groups are perhaps the most notorious purveyors of fake news and propaganda in modern history. The things detailed in the article pale in comparison to the shit I see literally everyday from the other side. Men crying over fake dead babies, adults forcing their children into dangerous situations with their phones out looking for a clip. Not to mention all the really vile shit like Hamas forcing their prisoners to smile and wave as they leave, after having watched their loved ones die in captivity.

Apparently her boyfriend, who was also taken from the festival, is still being held? That's got to be really hard on her psychologically.

From the area where the hostages were rescued by the IDF, a healthy young man with a fresh fade and cleanly dressed wound cries that there are terrorists trapped and unable to be rescued. :violin:

yeah, that along with all the psychological trauma she has already endured... she will likely never fully recover

So ok, we had UNRWA members participate in the Oct 7 attacks and Al Jazeera "journalists" participate in hostage taking. This is good information to have.
