Okay, fair call. My sentence there was unhelpfully flippant. But I stand by the sentiment. Palestinians are humans and can be expected to do better than massacring civilians. Millions of them don't do this. Modern leftist ideology just sees oppressed people responding like machines to oppression. So often, their agency is reduced to merely deterministic reflexes. I think this reductive approach diminishes their humanity and utterly distorts causality.
on the contrary, (imo) sociology and psychology are disciplines of growing, learning about ourselves, etc... i can love the human, have compassion for the human while also condemning the human's words and actions.

50% of the population of Gaza is 18 or younger... I assume by children they mean anyone younger than 18. The "65% women and children" figure is actually better than what you'd expect from indiscriminate bombing based on statistics/demographics, since 75% of the country is either female or minor.
Israel has launched more bombs at Gaza than the US did in Afghanistan in any given *year* of the Afghanistan conflict. And Gaza is the 5th most densely populated country in the world, far more densely populated than Afghanistan.
Your numbers are both very off regarding the number of rockets fired by each side.
