Israel is under attack

The Israeli deaths have been discussed and denounced day after day but you never hear anyone in the media or government talk about how bad it is for Israel to be killing 40000+ civilians. That's my point

you're kidding right? The mainstream media is so anti Israel its nauseating.

I'm sure other terrorist organizations are taking notes.

"ok guys here's the plan, right? We'll drive in ambulances so if they bomb us they'll look bad! I mean you can't bomb ambulances right? We win either way, it's genius!"

Same idea with the hospitals, schools, mosques, etc etc and so forth.

BREAKING NEWS: Israel bombs ambulances! The horror!

*cue Hamas laugh track*

"The report also addresses Israeli Government policies that have had an impact on all aspects of Palestinian life, such as access to clean and affordable water.

“There is so much ‘silent harm’ and psychological trauma, that may not be immediately apparent, resulting from the erosion of economic, social and cultural rights. These debilitating processes have severe short and long-term consequences and must be urgently addressed”, said Commissioner Miloon Kothari."

"Major attacks took place in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, and 2021—virtually every two years. Israel has pursued a strategy of “mowing the lawn,” a phrase it uses to describe the periodic bombing of Palestinians in the territory to keep armed groups at bay."

'In this case, it’s a system of oppression by Jewish Israelis over Palestinians — something Israeli leaders themselves have confirmed. “Israel is not a state of all its citizens,” then Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in 2019. It’s “the nation-state of the Jewish people and only them.”'

"Human Rights Watch and the Israeli human rights organization B’tselem have each issued recent reports on Israeli apartheid. Amnesty’s report essentially closes the circle. There are no longer any globally known and respected human rights organizations who don’t recognize Israeli apartheid."

'At a conference hosted by Haaretz on Wednesday, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that “the village of Hawara needs to be wiped out. I think that the State of Israel needs to do that—not, God forbid, private individuals.”'

thanks for proving my point on media bias I guess? 🤔

The mainstream media is so anti Israel its nauseating.
lol what? dude, even the new york times and washington post had been helping israel with their propaganda.

and fox news is still one of or THE most watched cable news network. they are VERY pro killing palestinian babies.

cnn has been simping for israel. it was only recently (such as after the refugee camp bombing) that i've seen some media pushback and tpugh questioning for idf spokespeople.

it's as though the bullshit had piled up and the general pro- israel camp COULD NOT ignore it any longer.

a poll from data for progress indicates that american voters want a ceasefire. in the poll, two thirds agree they want one, including over half of republican voters polled.

the white house has been an embarrassment over this whole thing (including the idiotic inference by the press secretary that pro- palestinian protesters are in the same category as the neo- nazis in the charlottesville va. rally that left one dead and over thirty protesters injured... yes, she implied that ppl who hate seeing babies revenge- murdered are the same as murderous neo- nazis)... but i think we might see a shift soon as more lawmakers call for a ceasefire (or "humanitarian pause", the language apparently allowed by the israel-simping-dnc-lackey-campaign-funders known as aipac)

As an ex-Zionist, I really have to disagree with this.
The current coverage has been incredibly pro-Israel.
Every Palestinian who is interviewed about their dead family members is first asked to "condemn Hamas".
The IDF's narratives are parroted by the MSM half the time.
The coverage is all about the handful of Israelis who have been killed. You don't hear about the 4008 Palestinian children who have been bombed to death.

I would welcome any of you to find a pro Israel article from a mainstream source since the IDF military campaign started. Yes, Fox is slanted. I'm talking a major newspaper, the AP, CNN, etc.

Because I just browsed through three pages of news headlines on Google and they were all negative toward Israel.

Here in the uk they are calling pro palestine marches 'extremist' and saying protesting should be banned because of it.

In the news here there is both pro-Israel stuff and pro-Palestine. It seems to swing back and fore from one to the other on the daily almost. I get the impression they're just happy to have everyone argue about the matter and use that to deflect interest away from stuff that's going on in our own country. Covid enquiry etc.

Only Zionists say that slogan is about Palestinian control. Its about freedom not control, you're falling for the Zionist propaganda

'"The phrase "from the river to the sea" captures this future as no other can, because it encompasses the entire space in which Palestinian rights are denied," Munayyer wrote. "It is in this space that Palestinians seek to live freely."

Munayyer argues that when Palestinians use the phrase, they are pushing for a "state in which Palestinians can live in their homeland as free and equal citizens, neither dominated by others nor dominating them."'

So that person knows more than the American Jewish Committee about what's antisemitic and what isn't? First calling them Nazis, now this. 🙁

“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is an antisemitic slogan commonly featured in anti-Israel campaigns and chanted at demonstrations.

This rallying cry has long been used by anti-Israel voices, including supporters of terrorist organizations such as Hamas and the PFLP, which seek Israel’s destruction through violent means. It is fundamentally a call for a Palestinian state extending from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, territory that includes the State of Israel, which would mean the dismantling of the Jewish state. It is an antisemitic charge denying the Jewish right to self-determination, including through the removal of Jews from their ancestral homeland.

Usage of this phrase has the effect of making members of the Jewish and pro-Israel community feel unsafe and ostracized. It is important to note that demanding justice for Palestinians, or calling for a Palestinian state, should not mean, as this hateful phrase posits, denying the right of the State of Israel to exist."
