The following essentially illustrates why there is fundamentally no solution to this issue:



The struggle over this land (of otherwise little value) will continue indefinitely due to what is depicted above. It's a theocratic fight based on these man-made fairy tales. And as evidenced by the mosque built ontop of the base of the ancient Jewish temple, this land has changed hands. If the Palestinians had the power to oust and eradicate the Israeli's they would, and perhaps with more brutality (I mean shit, just look at Syria, and that is Muslim against Muslim). In any event, the side-picking is kind of silly in a way and is just a projection of one's own political leanings, a sense of belonging to a group, or biases against one group (dislike of jews or dislike of arabs/muslims).
