I have no issue telling everyone where I stand when it comes to shit-stained Israel. I hate that government for what they are doing to the palestinians. Imagine a group of people so disgusting, so vile, they need to create laws making it illegal to criticize them (look up antisemitism laws that are about to be passed in the US). FUCK these people. Everyone is biased in some way and anybody who doesn't admit that is lying. Being biased isn't the problem here, but downplaying, negating or even justifying what IsraHell is doing is the actual problem.

I think I have said everything that needs to be said on this topic. I would like to ask @arrall or @mal3volent to lock me out from engaging further in this thread because I'm wasting too much time and energy here, trying to convince people who don't want to be convinced. It's ruining my mood and fighting with people isn't why I have registered here on bluelight. I'm actually here to form friendships and have meaningful discussions (this -> :group hug: and not this -> :slapping:), so please, if the admins or mods could ban me from this topic I'd be thankful because I keep coming back since I'm very passionate about this issue (perhaps too much for my own good) and seeing how people defend an inhuman, genocidal government is riling me up and is bad for my mental well-being. Thank you and I wish everybody (yes I truly mean everybody, including the stupid trolls) a good day/night wherever you are located.

I heard something about Israel having 2 weeks to literally destroy Hamas & everything else in Gaza. Then it will return to the UN and pretty much return to business.

jewish people can be very uncivilized also, specially considering that they've had a Halaja, while Islam still don't have any type of secular Enlightment period

and some ppl basically go: "turn gaza into glass!", etc... and say that the good regular palestinians need to get out of gaza so they can get to hamas... where are they supposed to go? how are they supposed to get out? the palestinians live in a giant prison state, basically.

netanyahu is going to use this (did he let it happen?) as an excuse to keep doing horrible things to civilians (and civilians are by far the most numerous of victims in these conflicts and attacks).

that's a pretty simplistic take, and afaik it ignores a big aspect... the u.n. started israel (a religious state) after wwii, and israel continues to this day to be a religious state. israel evicts muslim families to let jewish ppl come and live there. jewish ppl have more rights in israel.

much of it is exactly about religion.

and places like iran (a terrorist state and a religious state) show some pretty extreme (and official) anti- jewish sentiment, and talk about wiping israel off the earth's crust... so yeah... religion. and many muslims in palestine talk about killing jews (and hamas is pretty religious).

i won't pretend to be an expert here, but saying any of this has nothing to do with religion seems too basic at least.

and don't take all this as being insensitive to israeli civilians... i can't imagine living under constant fear of hamas terrorist attacks... and those poor kids at that festival (probably pro peace, probably support palestinian civilian victims of israel's attacks and this is the price they pay) and now spineless hamas is going after babies... sick.

i feel for the civilians on BOTH sides. it's horrible on both sides.

but that doesn't justify THE STATE OF ISRAEL'S crimes against humanity.

You need to actually get the facts straight. When Britain left Mandatory Palestine, the land was divided by the UN between the Jews and Palestinians. The Jews accepted the partition, the Palestinians didn't and declared war immediately. That is literally historical fact. There could have been two states but one side didn't want it. That side also colluded with the Nazis because they hate the Jews for religious reasons. And still want them dead. How anyone with a degree of morality could support that is beyond me but you are clearly ignorant of the actual facts here.

You keep saying Israel could squash them if they wanted to “but don’t.” No instead they are doing it the “smart” way through deprivation of basic necessities and slow strangulation.

I don’t see videos of Palestinians literally walking into an Israeli home and claiming it as their own. Yet I’ve seen countless of the reverse. They take pot shots at the Palestinian people, and it doesn’t matter until someone important gets tied up in the mix. (RIP Shireen)

@someguyontheinternet has made an excellent point multiple times no one seems to answer. Why is the average age in Gaza 17-18yrs old? There’s really only a few potential answers to this question, and none of them make Israel look very good.

I don't support war crimes. But put yourself on Israel's shoes- why would they continue to literally provide aid to the enemy who has murdered something like 1000 of them, many of them the elderly, women and children, and currently has hostages who they are threatening to kill? Hamas attacked, and are holed up in Gaza. All the risk the Palestinian there currently face are a result of Hamas actions.

We all know that Israel are not going to starve the Palestinians to death. They could have done this at any time over the last 15 years and haven't. But will they put pressure on Hamas to release their hostages, the ones that haven't yet been beheaded? Of course they will. I feel awful for the innocent people living in Gaza, but to me it's absolutely clear that the risks they face are a result of Hamas and its sheer medieval barbarity over the last week.

You seem unable to accept that Hamas are in the wrong here. I haven't read everything you've written on the subject, but I surely imagine, with your stance against war crimes, that you've been invoking the Geneva convention against Hamas for indiscriminate rape and murder of civilians, too. Or is it okay to parade a naked and murdered woman through the streets while men spit on her corpse because she was...hang on, she was German. Oops, I guess.
