Is using mdma once a month considered abuse or dangerous?

Setting is also a factor. The irony of MDMA is that the most popular place to take it is also the worst. In a clinical setting, body temp raises only slightly. But in a club, while dancing and around other overheated bodies, is when body temp can really rise. Studies with rats have shown a relationship between room temp and neurotoxicity:

"At elevated room temperatures (26–33 8C), both the hyperthermic response and the neurotoxicity are potentiated" (Broening et al., 1995, Sanchez et al., 2004).

This is an important point. MDMA after all, was not created with anticipation of people dancing in crowds or having restricted access to seating and water. I always encourage my friends who think raving/clubbing is the way to go with MDMA to plan to try it in an entirely different setting- you can still enjoy music, friends, and the aspects you enjoy of partying in your own home, at beaches, camping trips etc. and you have the comfort and safety of unlimited seating, bathroom visits without lines, and

I explained this all to you before, and you simply dismissed it because "everyone is different". No, everyone is largely the same.... our brains all work in the same basic way, if they didn't you would be a mutant" It's the tiny differences between us is what makes you, you.

You're right. When people claim they know someone who can "roll balls weeks on ends" I've always found it's someone who is getting a lot of pipes and RC's, or it's someone extremely new who ultimately crashes. Though there are some factors than can make your body more equipped to process the damage of serotonin depletion and 5-HT down-regulation, like genetics, diet, age, and other habits..we're ultimately biologically the same creatures, functioning in the same way. If my Honda Accord has a dead transmission at 200,000 miles, chances are, your Honda Accord will have a dead transmission at around the same mileage.
