I tried a new batch of crystal yesterday morning and this one when I held it, made my hands tingle, the same kind of tingling when your actually high, but before I even snorted it. I didn't get high from holding it, but this tingling has never happened before. Why is this? And is it something to worry about?

Well,I'm thinking that you liked the crystal. From the sounds of it A LOT. However, if you're asking if there is something physically wrong with you, than no, I don't think you have much to worry about. Stimulants are known to have that kind of effect (well all drugs of addiction-though I've experienced it most with stims)-it doesn't have to be tingling, it could be any sensation associated with excitement and anticipation. For me, with coke primarily as I live on the east coast, but with crystal and some other stimulants, I would often have severe stomach cramps or even nausea/vomiting before I used/when I went to pick up.

So do you have something to worry about? I would think addiction to meth.

That's what I'm guessing is most likely. Meth is super lipid soluble, but not to the point that it would be absorbed with any amount of efficacy through the skin on your hand. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

It's because meth stimulates your brain's reward pathway. Same reason your heart will speed up when you're about to have sex for example because you've subconsciously associated meth with pleasure.

For sure.

Just seeing coke is enough to get my heart racing, skin tingling, stomach bubbling, etc. Stimulants have a powerful effect on the mind and come with such a strong compulsion to use and degree of cravings, that the excitement one gets just thinking about getting high, can cause psychical sensations.

^yeah, I mentioned that in my post. A few years ago I was about to do a shot of coke but before I could do it, my mouth started producing massive amounts of saliva and I vomited and then vomited again after the shot.

I don't know why but stimulant drugs like methamphetamine, cocaine, Mephedrone, MDPV and even fucking MPH seem to produce this type of response to the anticipation of use more so than other addictive drugs like heroin/opiates and benzodiazepines. With dope and benzo's I usually get increasingly anxious (when im in withdrawal or about to be) until I have the drug in my hand, at which point I then get a small kick or 'boost' where I can ignore the sickness and things seem all around improved. However I've never vomited out of excitement when I'm prepping a shot of heroin. I've always debated which drugs were more psychologically addictive, heroin/other potent opiates, or powerful stimulants like methamphetamine or cocaine-though at the same time these drugs are so different that it's like comparing apples and oranges. I feel like people addicted to Opiates/opioids can have a harder time getting clean and remaining that way, but they can also manage their opiate use in a more structured manner (I always have had a 'schedule' of use-like a morning shot, afternoon shot, evening shot and get-to-bed-shot) whereas with cocaine I'd fix for as long as their was cocaine to fix. Meth's similar in it's fiendishness though after redosing several times it's easier (than coke) to put it away and enjoy the actual high while engaging in some sort of activity (other than taking hits, sniffing lines or shooting up).

Anyway, I don't mean to stear the discussion off topic, I just find it interesting how stimulant drugs have such a dramatic effect on the body when anticipating their usage compared to other drugs. I wonder if it's due to the fact that they aren't physically addictive in the same way opiate and GABAergic drugs are.

Sometimes when I get a really good cloud, I feel tingling in my head and hands/feet. It doesnt last long but it feels nice, and I dont usually take another hit for a few hours after that.
