As the title suggests, is there an easy method of converting the 2c-b HBr salt to the HCl salt?
I realize from the synthesis literature that it can be done in a lab relatively easily. BUT is there a method of conversion that is less... costly. I'm not necessarily looking for intermediate cleaning steps, as the assumed starting HBr is relatively clean.
In this scenario the purpose of conversion is for testing subjective differences between the 2 salt forms. I know according to the chemistry and pharmacology that they SHOULD be the same besides the HCl salt being more potent by weight, but that's besides the point.
As long as the conversion ends in a safe and useable HCl salt form of 2c-b then I'm satisfied.
