hahaha, can't wait for you guys to be in CT. Basically, it'll work out in such a way that I'll be partying with you at both locations: in Philly and in Stamford, which is pretty funny, being that I never thought there would be people who'd be interested in making such long distance trips. When I'm in CT, I'll drive you around and show you some cool restaurants (clubs are nyc and philly of course). CT in general is ok, though we all gotta move out West at one point and see what's happening there. ;)
And oh yeah, is Noodle in CT or something? I'd love to meet him god damn it!!! Dude, at least AIM me if u can.
 
The muni is filled with pubescent little drug addicts trying to get away from mommy and daddy every friday night. The upstairs isn't bad considering 95% of the "I'm just trying to be different" little kids can't get up there. The downstairs is just horrible though... usually its the same 20 candy/freak ravers downstairs huddling in the corner licking each other...
 
Do any of you CT people remember System? System was the best!!!!! I heard that it is to be reopened soon under the name "Matrix", does anyone know if there is any truth to that?
CT scene has been dead since system closed its doors. The Asylum in Springfield usually has great lineups, but security there is sketchy at best.

C'mon people, convince me! :) I'm this close to moving to the Killingly/Putnam area thanks to a few very persuasive friends waving cheap rentals and high-paying jobs in my face. Yup you heard it here first... now convince me dammit! :)

Muni has it's moments... but it seems as if they relized they suck ass and are throwing all these upcomming events and actully making flyers. My gurls love it there and I can't understand why. *shrug*

^^ Umm dude? Theres about 5 billion BLers from that area of CT, lol. Hopefully for your sake, none of them will take offense to that. Yeah its not my favorite part of the state but theres good peoples around, and cheap housing, and all I care about is I'm off Cape Cod, making money, and surrounded by my friends.
I'M MOVING TO CONNECTICUT!!!! :)

EDIT: Oh yeah, and theres nothing wrong with poor people. I'm from a town thats half filthy rich and half dirt poor and the ones without the $ are usually better people anyways. I honestly don't know what was meant by "alot of poor people live there" because that shouldn't matter at all, really. Good peoples are good peoples no matter where you live. Peace.

i didnt know people who owned 2.5 million dollar houses in stamford were poor. Greenwhich CT also has one of the highest land value in the whole country. Take a drive through greenwhich sometime, it will change your whole outlook on the state. Yea sure, some of ct is ghetto, but if you take a look at oklahoma, georgia, such places as that. I think youd take the shittiest connecticut town over it anyday. just my opinion though, I love it here, as much as i like to say it sucks :P

Hahaha, whoever said CT has a lot of poor people was obviously tripping ballz. Westport and Grenwich (sp) are second richest places in the nation, AHEAD of beverly hills. There's a boat parked on the side of each house...we did the survey when we first moved here. Bunch of venture capital firms are operating from here, including some of the largest ones on the East Coast. Yale is not too far. And a lot of people work in NYC and make NYC salaries while live/spend in CT. So think about.
 
CT is definately one of the wealthiest states in the nation if not THE wealthiest. Some parts of it are ghetto, but no state can be perfect...right? Connecticut is definatly a great state to live in though, high wages, located right in between boston and NYC, has plenty of beaches, etc, etc....
On a side note... I was quite the System head back when the club was thriving...yes it was infested with large meatheads and even larger tranvestites, but there was definately something special about that place. They didn't bring the largest names (except...keoki...blah), but the vibe in that place was always amazing to say the least. Every time I went there before it got blown up in the news, I had an absolute blast. I can definately say that System changed my life and definately for the better.
