Is sinemet (l-dopa/carbidopa) recreational?

L-dopa has a lot of shitty side effects, but apparently carbidopa makes it so that the dopamine only enters the CNS and not the PNS/bloodstream. Since this is dopamine being released in the brain, and one of the most common side effects is "euphoria/grandiosity", I'd assume it'd have some sort of recreational value.

(No, i'm not stealing anyone's parkinson's meds. I just saw a commercial for sinemet and it piqued my interest.)

^ I understand that you're not raiding someone's medical cabinet, but we still don't allow "can I get high off x" threads.. try google. Anything that is recreational is likely to have an erowid page too so that can be a good indication.

Definitely not wise to start popping someone's Parkinson's disease medication (not saying you are, but for anyone else reading this..)
