Really, people shouldn't smoke anything ever, but we do anyways, smoking above age 21 is the same as smoking at the age of 20...C'mon now, first it's "don't smoke weed untill your 21 and brain matured" then "dont smoke past the age of 21, its a fact that i cant prove"

Medical Marijuana use can very beneficial, no matter what the age. However, if your mom doesn't want to use it then so be it. Last thing you want to do is give her a panic attack or something.

To be honest mate, fuck it. She's 72 and I think that's good going. If she can't enjoy a bit of weed at that age and in that condition, then what world are we living in?

Shit, if I were her, I'd be IVing smack, LSD, Cocaine and toking weed day and night.

FWIW I didn't suggest it at all. They (my parents) have their developed prejudices and, regardless of the benefits, it would have alienated my father who is prime carer and not so much a teetotaler but prefers the straight state.

Of course if they were initiating it i'd be there with bells on.
