Is God the epitome of both good and evil?

God claims to be the epitome of all attributes and commands that we place no one above him for any of them.

We are not to see or name anyone as more moral, more loving, more just, more compassionate or more of any other attributes we can name. Fewer scriptures talk of his great jealousy, greed or wrath but they and other evil attributes are all there.

Believers will know that since in the beginning there was only God, then all that is must have emanated from God as the only possible source of anything and everything.

All good, all evil and all in between must then have been born from the essence of God.

If all good and evil come from God and he loves himself as well as his neighbors, not that he could have any, then God must love both his good side and his evil side.

Is that why God does not rid this world of evil? Because God loves evil?

Does God also gain pleasure from evil as this quote indicates?

Revelation 4:11 (KJV)
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Regards

Semantically, Yes.
But you are killing yourself with semantics
buddy.
Im surprised because this is what atheist usually do, not gnostics.
Things become "evil" simply because God draws away.
Darkness "exits" when light is removed.
He has a "left" and a "right" hand.
You cant say one comes before the other or one "existed" before the other.
The illusion of time is f-ing u up.
As well as pyhsiology.
You cant put "evil" or "good" in a jar,
however they "exist" simply because God exists
AS WE PERCIEVE EXISTENCE.
(See shrodengers cat)
Non "existence" is simply absence of God.
If he wasnt "holding" you together (allowing you to exist)right now you would cease to exist. "Nothing" exits apart from God. All things that exist do so as a "consequence" of God. By what he speaks/chooses. Without him nothing exists.
The bible does in fact say God created "evil".
Same way I create/define "unlove" by loving.
He speaks things into existence.
Existence , as we know it!
When he "speaks" his action is executed.
He is the ultimate Judge. We get our authority to judge (free will) from him.

AND faith put simply is knowledge or understanding of truth of God.
You cant please God without understanding him.
Try looking at God like a "parent"
He loves you, but he is going to correct you because he doesnt want to see you suffer.
He will "allow" you to suffer ( draw away from him) until you realize you're causing yourself to suffer.
Dont get loss in the semantics of what I am writing--just go for the message.
Gods plan is "perfect".
Use it! Dont create your own.
Trust his word/right hand/Jesus
or experience his "left hand"/correction until you do.
You're choice
Hard heads learn the hard way.

god isn't some dude in the clouds, god is the fundamental level of reality, god is what everything is made up of, god is cosmic consciousness. god cannot be explained by the use of words, or conceptualised.

Good and evil are irrelevant. They are not fundamental pieces of the universe. They are merely characteristics.

To be good and/or evil would imply you had the foreknowledge of the result of every act that occurs as a result of your act. Due to intelligent life, not even a creator would be able to know this, let alone a human.

Individual acts might have a good or evil intent, but to be truly good or evil would involve knowing every possible permutation in any given situation and being able to pick the one causing the least/most chaos.

god is the fundamental level of reality, god is what everything is made up of, god is cosmic consciousness
My wife always tell me that every object has energy that radiates out from it, and the point at which they all intersect, would be god.
