I think NVDA will be fine. Intel has been lagging in that market for awhile now, which is why they're now paying NVDA royalties to use their patents. The best Intel could do to keep competing would be to buy out NVDA, but I don't think NVDA would let that happen. I think there's plenty of market share for both to remain profitable.

Posted on SeekingAlpha this morning:

10:03 AM Intel's (INTC +0.6%) decision to pay Nvidia (NVDA -0.2%) a $1.5B tech license fee shows how mobile devices are remaking the semiconductor sector. And Nvidia is looking to get into Intel's core CPU business, using ARM Holdings (ARMH +2.5%) designs. "This is a big inflection point in the marketplace," says one analyst. Comment! [Tech]

Transocean up 3.25% to $76.18 again today. If this shit keeps up I'll be able to retire 30 years early. =D

Did you ever end up picking up any more options captainballs?

Not that anyone actually trades on my advice here, but in case they did I'm officially closing my BUY position on NVDA. It may run up still, but its no longer undervalued enough to consider it a sure bet.

Anyone that would have bought in August when I suggested it would be cashing out with almost 150% in profits.

I've also closed out of my real life position of RIG $75 May calls for a quick 80% profit. I plan to buy back in when the stock dips. It's been up too much in the past week not to soon.

Coinstar(CSTR) looks like a good buy here. They run those coinstar counting machines as well as those redbox movie rental machines. They reported terrible earnings last night, but I don't think that justifies the apocalyptic 25% selloff today.

sometime last year...lemme check
will easily go over 20 by year end
but I am looooooong

but most in GE - just look at the 10 yr chart and use common sense

edti: lol 2009 , I dont pay too much attention

too much work on the buy /sell for me....

That is the plan
If you believe in apocolypse bullshit, then we are all fucked anyway
Otherwise...Ill be fine

Dude, I'm up 9% and 13% on RIMM and RIG, respectively. It's been, like, no time at all.

I also want those millions so bad I can fucking taste it, man. Believe me, I know how the hunger feels.

No options action over here yet, man. I'm thinkingright now about which oil companies have the most efficient refining processes but I have limited insight into that area. I think its going to be a big deal permanently, whoever has the biggest dick in that area - just like RIG letting them nuts swang all over offshore drilling's mouth (stunting hard).

Yeah I don't know enough about refining to make a suggestion on that. I'm all in cash right now after selling Friday. If its pattern holds like it has exactly for the past 6 months, RIG is due for a nice pullback after breaking $79 Friday. It might make a run just over $80 but that's about it. I'll be looking to get back into the $75 May or August calls within the next 2-3 weeks after RIG falls near $75. 2011 is going to be a good year. =D

Normally a little too risky for me to do on a stock I'm so bullish on, but I have a buy order in for some RIG $85 May PUTS at $7.00 this morning. The stock is starting to look parabolic and I think it's gone up way too much too fast. I should (hopefully) be able to use these puts to profit on the stock's pullback in the next week or two.
