Starting with hip-hop influenced roots, Indianapolis based DJ and producer StarSteady has been making noise in the global house scene over the past 5 years with releases on System, Mizumo, and his own imprint Let's Play House Recordings. Since it's inception in early 2006, LPH Recordings (Founded by StarSteady & Sway) has released 5 top 25 Beatport releases with original offerings from Gramatik, Mark Ramsey, Sayan, and The Watt, in addition to remixes from the Verdugo Brothers, Kyle Watson, and Maverickz. The label has gained support from industry heavyweights Donald Glaude, Tiesto, Bad Boy Bill, Mark Schulz, and Noir. As 2010 quickly approaches, StarSteady's focus is on taking LPH Records to the next level with a full slate of electro tech releases and plans of a 6 track original EP release.

I expect it from time to time out of "our" camp ;) when I see other people doing it as well, I get excited. After 3 years of playing to the "dubstep sucks" crowd here locally it's nice to see others embracing it. Reminds me of 94-96 when we were pushing the dnb sound on a nation of house/techno heads.

Boh!!!! big ups to carpe noctum crew for the talent. its funny to me how out of all the genres in which dubstep producers started out from, that numbernin6 began with trance, due to the grittyness of his production style lol....
