I quit going to the vogue years ago for my own reasons. It'd be cool to see it turn mostly edm. Boom.

moreover it gives the Vogue a chance to see EDM culture at play. This may open up further possibilities down the line :)

Not against to using Talbott Street, but excited to be working with different venues again. :)

both are nationally-known acts, no matter the music genre. the high ticket cost for cypress hill caused them to sell very few presale tickets, and on the day of the show they were selling tickets 2/$40 and still couldn't get enough people in there to even fill the majority of the bottom floor. hopefully there is better luck with numbers on this show. i'll be in cali with my shades on %)

The money excuse doesn't fly with me anymore now that I live in Vegas. $12.00 for a drink and $20 for just a regular club night with no nationally known acts. $40.00 for an low-mid level DJ and up. It's not like we are trying to rob you guys, we just want to break even. Though from time to time it would be nice to make some money given the amount of effort we place into this stuff.

i've always liked ATB. nice to see them back in Indy!

also sorry if I came off as crass that was not my point. I've been up late reading Marx and applying it to the study of nightclub culture.

Anyway, my point is you should be happy the cost of entertainment is low relative to other markets.

I also understand if you cannot afford to go to the show, it's a matter of choices. Go see a move at Keresotes or Rave or wherever $20, see a live show $30. It's as they say back home "six a dozen and one half of the other".

But I do think there is and has for sometime been a general misleading of people in society to think people who work as promoters, photographers, journalists, etc. make money off of their craft. Given the perception of the lives we lead, and the front we put up. Sadly, many of us run at a loss or mostly breaking even. Even the big guys. But it's worth it...

This just in........ We live in Indianapolis........ This isn't Vegas. People don’t flock here for entertainment purposes. And really shouldn’t be EXPECTED to pay Vegas entertainment “club” prices. You can’t expected people to even know who ATB is unless they follow/enjoy “dance” music. I wish you very much luck with this show..... but with many others I’ve been to over the years I won’t be surprised at the outcome.

I am all for bringing big names in EDM to Indy and have been for years. <3

Might as well get tickets at the door.
Of all places you had to go through rapemaster?! $31.25 :(

I really don’t understand the use of presales through ticketmaster.... if you say you are selling presale and at the presale price why not actually have ticketmaster list them to equal the $25 price. Not $25 plus $6 in rapemaster charges. :X

Stop bitching about the cost of shows. If they charged $20 per ticket and sold out The Vogue they would lose money. The show costs more than that to produce.
