Immigration discussion

Edit: So it was arguably the Soviet Union that ended WW2. But I guess that won't fly with many Americans.
lol, the stupid ones, sure.

but I hate when people suggest either is true; the Soviets would have lost if not for the western front, and the allies would have never been able to invade the west without the Eastern front. Nobody singlehandedly won WWII.

Japan was already willing to surrender but they could not accept that the allies would dethrone the emperor.
Worded strangely.

But no, in reality they were not willing to surrender apart from a few isolated generals.

We can take this to another thread or the lounge, though. Getting off topic.

I do relationship coaching and will tell yoistright up that most foreign women are far, far superior wives than American women.
How so? What makes a woman a superior wife? Saying yes sir , having dinner ready and sex at the mans will? Odd thing for a relationship coach to make generalizations like that.

Going by the waistlines of your average American, I'd say it's probably more the ability to cook in the first place.

Read what I wrote, then.

Did you even read bro?

Or did you just immediately come to the conclusion I was a Trump fanboy idiot and then disregard what I was saying? I made no real argument other than how my initial posts critiques the media's portrayal on the issue, and the left's oblivious opinion on immigration.
Idk what you're trying to say bro you sound confused bro. 🤡

man there's a lot of speculation, supposition, "what if?", "potentially", "should be" and "maybe" in that article!

i think we're a long, long way from being able to say, with any degree of authority that "ActBlue is a terrorist organization".

the amount of performative bullshit from this administration is exhausting.

Senator Says Margarita Photo‑op With Abrego Garcia Was Staged by Salvadoran Leader

"Sen. Van Hollen claims drinks in viral image with detained U.S. migrant were planted by officials in the Central American country

Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen was getting ready to leave El Salvador without seeing detained U.S. migrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia when he got a surprise phone call. Authorities who had previously denied him a visit were now willing to allow an in-person meeting, Van Hollen was told.

The meeting, which took place Thursday evening in the lobby of Van Hollen’s hotel in San Salvador, appeared to have been set up as a carefully curated photo-op by Salvadoran officials, the senator said.

trump took a question on the apparently staged picture today at an event.

planted question and scripted response? i have no evidence whatsoever of that but it sure sounds like it...

Yeah nothing sketchy about being the only place in the world where you don't need to give the 3 digit code from your credit card.

Surely the GOP parallel fundraising organizations have no connections to far right domestic terrorist groups, right? .... right?

Terrorism is such a convenient word these days.

I thought something was off when I first saw the photo because he's wearing street clothes and a baseball cap. Bukele's mentality is pretty much the same as Trump's but a lot of people over there think he's great because of the reduction in gang violence. I guess due process and civil rights don't matter tho. There's definitely a lot of parallels between Bukele and Trump.
