ok i have been using methadone that i pay for off the street ,im just so so so tired of this i cant keep money ,im barely working ,i cant cold turkey it anxiety and restless leg make me want to shoot myself ...its VERY HORRIBLE i dont get pain in joints etc 2-3 days into it i end up drinking and this is bad since im VERY allegic to alcohol and end up w/d from both till i get more pills

i want to go to the hospital and ask for clonodine nothing narcotic ,i get so nervous ,i have insurance with kaiser ,guess it the GAD working on me,i dont want my regular doc to know i asked him for clonodine once before for RLS but he gave me xanax ,wich i enjoyed but wouldnt help me with W/D (it would but not the way i wanted)

im at wits end ,i actually achieved MORE when i was getting high ONCE a day ,this is IV use switched to methadone because i could get it easy ,really dont know what to do

im sure im leaving out alot but im so stressed i cant think straight ,i never get a steady dose by the way do to money

Your best bet would be being honest with your regular doctor. If methadone off the streets has been helping, then you might be best trying to get into a methadone maintenance programme or getting a suboxone doctor. There are ways to access both methadone and suboxone for free.

I think you'd probably have a better chance of getting clonodine from a regular doctor than by presenting at an emergency room.

mind u i have presented this to one doc that just wrote "narcotic abuser" on my sheet and told me to tuff it out when i was up to 100mg a day back then ,the new doc gave me xanax when i didnt ask for it,i asked for clonodine

i dont want to be on ANYTHING,really but i tried looking for free clinics and i couldnt find any ,did see some that were like 2-4 hours away im in VA area

why is it people can get ativan easily from hospital when they say they want to detox from alcohol but not clonodine for opiate w/d?

^That's really weird, i've always been offered clonodine for opiate withdrawal. Perhaps you need to find a better Dr., or look into getting on suboxone. Or just switch back to a shorter acting opiate and cold turkey that. Benzo's are given out so much it's a joke

Good luck hydro
