Hi all, I'm not sure where to post this so please be patient with me...

I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis & recently stayed in a rehab clinic. When I left I was rostered reduced hours (about 6 hours a day), 5 days a week.

Since then I've been told I have to go casual (I have a fall - not at work tho - & someone told them) & I'm also having a flare up (constant tears etc, very unstable on my feet...) & they want me to sign a two month trial thing (which basically reads like they want me gone - which by the way they keep swearing is not true)...

I just don't know what to do at all... They suggested calling Centrelink as my medical bills & meds are quite high

I should also mention that I've been working for them for 5+ years & have issues with my left side of my body

Personally I would not sign anything without a lawyer looking through the paperwork; clauses etc. I, personally, would not sign anything of that nature if it leaves you vulnerable to losing your job. What are your current rights? Legal representation may be best just encase. Everything should be kept confidental.

If you're unsure of where to post a thread, my advice would be to post the thread in the Homeless sub-forums n the moderators would move it to the appropriate sub-forum. If you pm one of the moderator here they may be able to move this thread to the appropriate place but not sure v

I am sincerely sorry for your troubles n sending thoughts. My knowledge of MS is very basic but I am here to listen if you'd like to chat please feel free tp pm me if you ever need someone to talk to <3

((((Lil snickette)))) xxxxx hope things get sorted for you....

Evey... Thank you for your very kind words.

I was meant to be working today & Wednesday but I was told to go home after one hour as they weren't 'ready' to take me through the position that they've basically created for me.

I was going to walk to Centrelink today but my legs were hurting so much.

Bloody hell I am only 33! Well I can tell you, 33 has never felt so old ?

Oh & don't laugh but I could work out how to PM you

Greenlighters receive PMs, they can not respond to PMs except from staff.

Well received an email changing my work time from 5 to 3 (the minimum amount for a shift here) & to an hour earlier (which they know I have trouble getting to work @ that time).

I am so lost... & I hate my ms so much becos it makes me 'feel' things

I wish I didn't exist... Wow typing that made the tears stop.

I'm sorry about everything you're going through, it really sucks, I've sent you a PM if you wanna talk. I agree that you might need a lawyer, I don't know what drugs you do or if painkillers are an option, either way, have you tried ibuprofen or paracetamol (for north americans it's what acetaminophen is called in british english countries). Was wondering if it might help numb the pain enough to help you get to centrelink.

Thanks Jess... I received your messages & will reply shortly...

I'm kinda running out of time, as I have to work tomorrow AM.

The pain is out of control... I tried to walk to Centrelink but failed quite badly.

I'm just so upset & can't stop crying... They are defiantly making my attack worse
