hey man, sorry to hear about your situation....but its important to remember, that sometimes its best to remove yourself from a situation to give yourself a little time to cool down. she needs time to really think about whats going on in her life, and what the best ways to fix the problems are. its probably better that she gets away for a minute to try and start fixing the problem, rather then just leaving herself in the middle of a big mess, allowing everything to just pile up and get worse.... though i do agree that it was very inconsiderate to just up and go without telling you but a few hours before...
just remember, you can't change whats already happened, the best thing to do is try to take something positive away from the situation in order to better yourself as a person. best wishes, everything will turn out better in the end.
