Ive got a bunch of .25 Xanax and 5/325 Hydrocodone

I took 15mg hydro and 2 .25 Xanax and really not feeling much.

Should I take anymore and if so is it safe? Or should I just call it quits

Thanks

If you dont have any sort of tolerance for pills and do not know the amount you need to take, then wait like 45min, if you dont feel them then you should be ok to take another dose.

Classic combo. You probably have mallincrockt (sp?) brand hydrocodone which is why you feel absolutely nothing. Up the dose of hydrocodone.

I have that brand hydros right now and they don't seem any different than other brands. This was actually my combo of choice last night for pain reasons...I'd also say wait like 45 mins - 1 hr and see how you feel, if you ate a decently sized meal recently both of them will take a little while for you to feel effects. IME I'd say then add another .25mg xanax, not more hydro, but this is coming from someone who tends to get nauseous at higher doses of hydro.

^^This, always make sure you wait at least an hour (a good hour) before re-dosing.

I also agree that you would take more xanax before taking more hydro (if the need arises). Another option would be to add an antihistamine (such as benadryl/diphenhydramine) to the mix to counter-act the itching and nausea that's going to probably come with that dose of hydrocodone.

On a side note, I'm with you, purple_cloud, I've had all kinds of brands of hydrocodone (even the legit Norco (R) ones), and I haven't found much of a difference, if any, from the brand name to the generic.
